ACCREDITATION COURSES RESUMED ON TUESDAY NIGHT 19 MAY @ 1900 HRS. COST $60. RUN FOR AROUND AN HOUR WITH SHORT TEST AT END. LOCATION RIFLE CLUB BUILDING MICKET CREEK COMPLEX - FIRST RANGE ON LEFT AFTER ENTRY) FEES NOW HAD TO BE INCREASED BY $5 to $60 TO ASSIST IN OFFSETTING COSTS.
WITH CV DISTANCING AND MEETING NUMBER CONSTRAINTS WE HAVE HAD TO LIMIT PARTICIPATION TO GROUPS OF NO MORE THAN EIGHT AT A TIME. THIS HAS NOW BEEN EXCEEDED FOR 19 MAY.
A SECOND SESSION THAT NIGHT AT AN 8:30 PM START WAS PUT INTO PLACE AND THAT IS NOW ALSO BOOKED OUT.
BOOKINGS FOR TUESDAY 2 JUNE @ 1900 & 2030 HRS ARE NOW SIMILARLY BOOKED OUT. NEW DATE WILL BE ADVISED SOON.
SHOOTING RANGES ARE NOW ALL OPEN AGAIN FOR FOR SCHEDULED CLUB SHOOTS AND OTHER ORGANISED ACTIVITIES. MOST PARKS & RESERVES (INCLUDING HUNTING RESERVES) ARE NOW OPEN. ORGANISED SHOOTS ARE NOW ALLOWED BUT SPECTATORS ARE STILL EXCLUDED.

The Council is an incorporated consultative and advisory body representing the interests of legitimate firearms owners and users throughout the Northern Territory.
The Council is supported by the Northern Territory Government and solely funded by government financial grants which are used to manage the Mickett Creek Shooting Complex, resource the position of executive officer, and the Council's functions, and maintain the Council's office in the Rifle Club Building at Mickett Creek.
